PETALING JAYA: MyWatch chairman R. Sri Sanjeevan has been admitted to the operating theatre of the Serdang Hospital hospital to remove the bullet lodged in his right rib after being shot at in Bahau on July 27.

His father P. Ramakrishnan confirmed this to The Star Thursday but said that the procedure has been hit by several complications.

“I was told by the doctors that there is a blood clot in his heart. They are still trying to remove it and the bullet.

“Whatever the outcome, I am prepared for it,” he said.

Ramakrishnan, however, said the operation, which is still in progress, has been interrupted by the presence of police officers from the Jempol CID.

He said the officers have insisted on being present in the operating theatre in order to obtain the bullet for investigation purposes.

Ramakrishnan had earlier lodged a police report at the Jalan Travers police station in Kuala Lumpur, asking for Seremban police to stay out of the investigations on his son’s attempted murder.

“But they came here anyway and are causing some hanky panky,” Ramakrishnan alleged. – Star
