KLANG, Oct 26 — Justice has prevailed as the monster involved in an act of cruelty against a 56-year-old woman was nabbed yesterday.
In a minute-long video, which has gone viral since Thursday, the suspect is seen pushing the woman down from behind after failing to snatch her handbag. He then makes a U-turn and rams his motorcycle front tyre into her face.
Klang Utara police chief ACP Mohd Yusoff Mamat said two brothers, aged 28 and 32, were arrested at Rantau Panjang in Klang early yesterday.
“The 32-year-old, who tested positive for morphine, was identified as the main suspect in the video,” he said.
Police recovered the motorcycle and several items belonging to the victim.
The woman was returning home from a public health clinic when her ordeal was captured on closed circuit television in an unidentified back alley.
Yusoff said she sustained gashes to her chin, nose, knee and fingers and sought outpatient treatment at the clinic she went earlier. – Malay Mail Online
